CLEVELAND -- Donovan Mitchell showed no lingering effects of a nagging groin injury on Saturday night as the Cavs topped the Pistons, 114-90.

But after scoring 20 points, dishing out four assists and grabbing two steals, Mitchell exited with a different injury -- a sprained left finger -- in the third quarter as Cleveland still cruised to win.

Mitchell wasn’t on the Cavs’ Saturday injury report after injuring his groin against Boston Celtics on Wednesday, when he still gutted out a 44-point performance. He didn’t know if the injury would cause him to miss some time when he talked about it after that game, but early on Saturday it looked promising that it wasn’t having much effect on his play.
